it's been a crazy year

day 136: miami vice

so 'ere i am in the big apple

after 131 days in hawai'i
i'm freakin' freezin' out 'ere
but hey
my new jacket looks rad

for the ill-informed
i was in miami for the past 3 days
miami didn't seem that "party in the city where the heat is on"
maybe for the rich & famous
for the common folk
its more al fresco chill out @ the hotel

went on the everglades tour

kinda lame
the airboat ride
looked so much cooler on csi:miami
as for the duck tour
let's not even go there

but miami is beautiful
@ least south beach
art deco architecture
i ventured into north miami
(total run down)
to catch the miami dolphins win their 1st game of the season

(they had lost 13 straight beforehand)

went to shop @ target the next night

ain't no target @ hawai'i
miami is a hell lot easier to get around compared to hawai'i
& 24 hour buses baby!

no ami or chris garver
everytime i popped by miami ink

lucky char & uru!

bayside marketplace was a major snoozefest

& my tour to key west
on the last day was cancelled
bus broke down they said
which mofo tour company only has 1 bus?
but just as well
went for retail therapy
& bought a few snazzy t-shirts
from urban outfitters

most enjoyable
was the last night

ok
my cab is comin' in 17 mins
still hasn't sunk in that
i'm leavin' my apartment, UH & hawai'i:
my life for the past 131 days

its been an experience
i'll look back one day & think:
"i spent 4 months of my life in hawai'i, how crazy is that?" haha

it ends tonight
well, technically tomorrow

tonight's my last night sleepin' 'ere
booked a freakin' cab to the airport
for $25 @ 10pm tm night

before i venture off to miami > new york > la > vegas > la
i'll save more of the "surreal that i'm leaving" shit for tomorrow

i just want to pass
& exams here couldn't be any easier

its been rainin' terribly these past few days
