the long awaited blogpost

to explain my lack of posts

began all so brightly
less lesson hours
post champs league weds to sleep in (& go out with sands after)
enjoyin' my epl & my shows
which quickly turned into a nightmare
flooded by meetings, presentations, deadlines
in no particular order as they all hit @ the same time

team spirit
has turned into team bitchin' instead
against certain individuals
rather justified nonetheless
not the best group dynamics this sem
lot of people talkin' the talk
& walkin' away

a little recap
for the reason behind the chaos
social work 3000 word group report
social work 1500 paper individual reflection
biz policy presentation (where i fluffed my lines)
"world's best ideas no.6: read presentation notecards in the dark"
all on the same day

before this week
had become all a blur now
career hunt ain't a peach so far
which makes honors all the more important
unlike past sems
where i could tell roughly how i'd fare
this sem
hmm...

anyways
newcastle won (& i won $14)
i know you all don't give a shit
about my team
if only they could be like my master league team on w11...
but liverpool
you played like fools
overhypin' ur arse & chokin' again
soton could have beaten you

all skool & no play...

first things first
why do i keep thinkin' today is friday?
but in a way
today marked the end
of a horrid week in skool

it began with
social psych midterm (which went okay)
endless project meetins'
& concluded with
asian markets presentation which didn't go all too smoothly
i even got jacked by "le speakerboxx"
for my powerpoint design
plus i've had to deal with
a nasty ulcer on my tongue
which still won't go away (shoo)

i got shit done today
which i've been meanin' to do:
e-mail "david banner" to join the ridge marketin' team
call & get through to adidas
(unfortunately there ain't anythin' for marketin' right now)
apply for internships with siemens & ogilvy
social work agency visit at 2.30pm
i totally forgot about it
e-mail the "in-charge" for social work agency make up visit

i've earned a breather for now
next week
is almost goin' to be as this one was
suddenly workin' doesn't seem like a biatch...

since i got jacked for my powerpoint
